Our initials are printed copper and are fired overnight onto clear glass in our kiln here in Donegal. Each glass initial is fired at 760 degrees celcius and will never wear off.

This chain is a Gold filled 18" chain with matching gold filled wire on the gemstones and gold filled jumprings. Each chain comes with Mc Gonigle Glass Studio Glass charm. 

Glass initial measures approx: 7mm x 12mm. As each initial is handmade please allow for unique differences. All  our charms are gold filled and vary in size. Lighning bolt charm  measures approx 18mm x 5mm. Star 8mm x 8mm.  Evil Eye 10mm x 7mm.  Crescent moon 6mm x 4mm. Cross 7mm x 5mm.

Your necklace will come presented in a Mc Gonigle Glass Studio branded gold embossed kraft box with custom designed insert for each month. Each birthstone has their own meaning:

Everyday care and cleaning for our gold filled chain:

  •  Warm water and a soft cloth are the best thing you can do to maintain the beauty of your jewelry
  • For a deeper, occasional cleaning, a drop of soap will return its luster. When you have finished cleaning make sure that you have dried you items properly using a clean and dry flannel cloth.
  • Salt water and chlorine in swimming pools take their toll on all fine jewelry
  • Many chemicals marketed for cleaning jewelry are actually somewhat abrasive and corrosive and can cause damage or color alteration to your jewellery
