Spring glass heart on a gold filled chain

Hand-carved glass heart using a diamond edged saw on an 17.5 inch Gold Filled solid sterling silver chain with Mc Gonigle Glass Studio Glass charm.  This  chain can also be worn at a shorter 15.5 inch on its extension links.

Glass pendant measures approx: 20mm x 15mm

Main colours: Greens, yellow, turquoise, pink, fleck of red

This is a one off necklace and cannot be remade which makes it extra special.

 Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.

•  Warm water and a soft cloth are the best thing you can do to maintain the beauty of your jewelry
• For a deeper, occasional cleaning, a drop of soap will return its luster. When you have finished cleaning make sure that you have dried you items properly using a clean and dry flannel cloth.
• Salt water and chlorine in swimming pools take their toll on all fine jewelry
• Many chemicals marketed for cleaning jewelry are actually somewhat abrasive and corrosive and can cause damage or color alteration to your jewellery
